Langham's 2010

This year has been a year of CHANGE for the Langham Gang. In May we were able to sell our condo in Provo, Utah as Randy got a job working for my brother-in-law in Derby, Kansas. We hired a Penske Moving Truck and moved across the country. We were only in Kansas for 3 months as we got another job offer from some family friends from Boise who had just started a new company out in Fort Worth, Texas. At the end of August we moved once again (hiring the Penske Moving Truck— thank heavens I still had most of my boxes still packed from Kansas) to Fort Worth, Texas and we LOVE it here! The Dallas Metroplex area is a wonderful happenin place. We love our new Apartment, Randy is enjoying his new job, and we have settled into our new ward with NO HOPES of moving again anytime soon.

Randy—

Randy has had an interesting year working three different jobs. He is such a HARD WORKER and such a good daddy to Jakey and a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL HUSBAND. He still loves his RAIDER NATION (American Football) and believes every year will be the year they will make it to the Superbowl. He is the Ward Employment Specialist for his church calling and he got to be one of the Three Wisemen for our Ward Christmas Party this year. He loves Texas, land of the original BBQ and steakhouses on every corner. He still has is laid back manner and wonderful sense of humor. He is currently working for the company TYM (Time) Security where he is a technician to fix and install home security systems in our neighborhood.

Janna—

Janna has enjoyed being home w/ Jakey for the 1st Year of his life. We have had a blast at our weekly playgroups, shopping sprees, and traveling escapes. Highlights have been swimming at the apartment complex pools, The Fort Worth Zoo, and going to the Pumpkin Patch at Flower Mound here in Texas. Janna is the Primary Activity Days Coordinator for the 8-10 year olds where there are twenty girls in our group full of energy and enthusiasm. We love our new ward and are making new friends quickly.

Jakey—

Jacob will be ONE on Dec 23rd. He loves books, his new kitty Gracie, throwing things down the stairs and running everywhere instead of walking. His pastimes include opening all of the cupboards and emptying them out and dragging our toothbrushes around the house. He is getting his first 2 bottom teeth and is super smiley all the time. He gets a new bump on his head or scratch from attacking the kitty everyday and tries to steal the TV remote or Mouse from the computer at least 5 times a day. When he takes off running towards the kitchen…we know he has something he is not supposed to have and gives himself away every time. It’s a “really fun” game to play, but he laughs, giggles and takes off running!

We are really thankful for all of the blessings we have received this year. We were really blessed to sell our condo in a crazy economy, and to have our families be so supportive and helpful w/ both of our moves. We are grateful to be in Texas and to have the gospel in our life. The Lord has really guided and directed us. We enjoy being together and are so thankful to be together in our little family.

Wishing your family a Happy Christmas and a Wonderful Happy New Year.

Love, The Langhams
